Presbyterian Eye Hospital Conducts First Eye Surgery

The Presbyterian Eye Hospital Limbe has successfully conducted her first Surgery on an 8-years-old boy named Johnson on May 5th 2022.

The patient who was suffering from Balateral Conginital Cataracts was operated with New Equipments and Theatre of the Presbyterian Child Eye Hospital Limbe by a team of PCC Medical Personel led by the medical Director of eye services Dr. Faustin Ngounou.

The Maiden surgery was free of charge thanks to the support of partners such as the German Federation of Economic Cooperation and Development BMZ, the German National Television RTL, The Lions Club Germany and the Christian Blind Mission CBM who were represented by the team manager for Central and West Africa Katja Ment.
